This poem was a random search. The only significance i had going to view this poem was that I liked the title and have heard of the artist once before. I was so glad to have stumbled upon this poem. The lyrics to me flowed and were descriptive in ways where i wanted to be. I took this piece apart and used words and phrases to paint a picture with.
This may have been a direct shout out to Pablo Neruda's work. To use his words and put them to chords was something i wanted to do for him (if haven't done already).
This song is soooooo much fun to play.
I do, in fact, hope you enjoy. :D

Verse |
If I look
At the crystal moon, at the red branch
And think of you
The touch of your hand
Ill climb up your lips
So tender and sweet, hopefully with me,
Our love so bliss
My hopes like fire
Not cold but warm
No one can reach it
Its blocked by my door
But yes im ready
Im forgiven of sin
My love and fears can all be replenished again
Chorus |
If you forgot me
If I forgot you
(2x)
Forgot who i was
Bridge |
I want you to know one thing
You know how this is
(like 6 times!)
